What Is Fair Faced concrete?

 


For a long time, concrete has been used in building construction to provide the structural support that buildings need. It is one of the most commonly used construction materials there is. This material is fairly inexpensive, and some people might think it's not great looking because it has a gray color. But that doesn't make it any less valuable.


Fair-faced concrete is a newer type of concrete that looks much better than regular concrete because it has a light gray color that makes it look like natural stone. It also comes precast so you don't have to worry about installing the blocks yourself, and it does not require any kind of special installation or treatment process to get leveled out for use on your property.

 Fair Faced concrete is a type of flooring used in commercial buildings for office or retail use. They are especially popular since they provide a clean and modern aesthetic.


It can't be installed as a laminate on top of an existing floor, but rather it is installed on top of a prepared subfloor. This process typically involves the removal of any old finishes or sealants for the subfloor, then applying primer to the surface and troweling it with Rockite® dry-mix mortar.

The next step is adding the Faire Faced overlay and then troweling that in with Rockite as well.

Fair Faced Concrete flooring can be installed on walls as well as floors, but installation methods will vary.
