 Lighting has so many functions, some of them are known to people like (visual activity, safety and security). some are special for interior designers like (creating the mood and enhancing their  interior design).

( Ambient lighting - Accent lighting - Task lighting - Decorative lighting - Kinetic lighting )

What is Ambient lighting ?

Ambient lighting provides the general illumination for a space and gives the overall glow.

What is Accent lighting ?

Accent lighting is used indoor and outdoor to feature locations or to create dramatic effects and points of visual interest.

What is Task lighting ?

Task lighting provides increased light for specific tasks in a room like reading , studying and etc.

It is also important for healthy eyes so it prevents eyes strain.

What is Decorative lighting ?

Decorative lighting is a selfish lighting , it says look at me.

What is kinetic lighting ?

Kinetic lighting is a moving light like candles or fire it could be provided by flickering light that jumps out from an advertising hoardings.
